Charles Grethen s’est qualifié pour les demi-finales du 1500 m des Jeux Olympiques de Tokyo / Bob Bertemes rate la finale au poids

(03/07/2021 – Info sportspress.lu) L’athète luxembourgeois Charles Grethen s’est qualifié mardi matin pour les demi-finales du 1500 m des Jeux Olympiques qui auront lieu jeudi.
Grethen a fini sixième de la 2e série dans le temps de 3’41″90 ce qui lui a permis d’accéder directement au tour prochain.
On le retrouvera jeudi soir (heure de Tokyo), dans la seconde demi-finale. En compagnie des Jakob Ingebrigtsen, Abel Kipsang, Jesus Gomez et autre Matthew Centrowitz.
Grethen devra terminer à l’une des cinq premières places ou signer l’un des deux meilleurs temps.

Bob Bertemes quant à lui, n’est pas parvenu à se qualifier pour la finale du concours au poids.
Dans la poule B, il a fini à la 9e place avec des essais à 20,14 (1er essai) et 20,16 m (3e essai) . Le deuxième essai de Bertemes a été nul.
